Bruno Oriti is a NJ licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of experience. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from Saint John’s University and went on for a post-graduate certification in Family Therapy and Supervision of family therapy at the Multicultural Family Institute where he also served as a Faculty Associate. His clinical perspective is rooted in a “systems approach” that understands that our individual humanity is shaped and expressed through a complex set of cultural factors rooted in nature. Bruno has applied this understanding to families struggling with concerns for Children, Trauma, Chronic Illness/Disabilities, Cultural Transitions, Addictions, and Learning Struggles. He applies interventions as they are helpful and these can include family, group, and individual therapy, psychological testing, community consultation, supervision of psychology services, and program development. He is a strong family advocate that coordinates care with any community agency or group that plays a role in a family’s life including schools, health care providers, social support agencies, faith organizations, and social justice groups. Bruno believes that by concentrating on the healing power of a family and the human systems that support them, therapy can be brief and highly effective.
