Bruno Oriti, Ph.D, LCSW, has been an active member within the mental health field for over 25 years. Bruno received his Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from Saint John’s University. Since then, he has received his licenses and certifications to practice psychology in New Jersey, supervise Marriage and Family Therapy and treat alcohol and other psychoactive substance use disorders. Bruno has taken membership in the American Psychological Association, New Jersey Psychological Association and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout his career, Bruno has led workshops and presentations that address the difficulties of children’s therapy, managing mental disorders, family matters and multiculturalism. He has a variety of experience working with couples, families, children, students and individuals with substance abuse issues. His professional interests are in analyzing the influences of race, gender, culture and class on individuals, families and community systems, disabilities and chronic illnesses in children, addiction and recovery from a multicultural and family life-cycle perspective, and building community affiliations to improve well-being and relieve psychological distress. Bruno’s proactivity in psychology qualifies him as one of the best trained Psychologists in the Middlesex County area.
