Samantha Valega-Bouchoux, LCSW, LSW, has 15 years of experience as a social worker throughout the state of New Jersey. She received her bachelors in psychology from Rutgers University and her Masters in Social Work from New York University School of Social Work. She is multi-lingual, being fluent in Spanish and Italian.
Samantha has experience working in a variety of mental health settings such as UMDNJ and Jersey Shore Medical Center. Samantha’s specialties are in working with children that have emotional problems (such as attachment disorders, ADHD, mood disorders and children with sexual and physical abuse histories) as well as working with individuals with psychiatric illnesses including MICA (Mentally Ill/Chemically Addicted) clients. Samantha also has experience in working with immigrants. She has previously assisted Latino immigrants and new citizens to become acquainted with USA laws. Samantha is an excellent Psychotherapist who strives to integrate her knowledge of multiculturalism in each meeting with clients.
